Objective: This article is a guide on how to use an authenticator app for 2FA using the Mobile and Web Apps.
Note: With TOTP, please store your TOTP backup code in a secure place, preferably on a cloud service. This code will allow you to recover access to your account if you change devices or lose your authenticator app.

Steps to Set up on the Mobile App
Download the Google Authenticator, Authy Authenticator, or 1Password App on your Mobile Phone or Tablet to continue.
- On the homepage in the app, tap Profile in the bottom right corner of your screen.
- On the next page, tap Security Settings under your profile.
- On the Security Settings page, Select Two-Factor Authentication.
- You’ll see a QR code with instructions to scan it using your authentication app or manually copy the key provided and paste it into your authentication app.
- Tap Continue, then copy the 6-digit code from your authentication app and enter it to finish the setup.
- Don’t forget to copy the recovery code and keep it safe as a backup if you lose your device's access!
Steps to Set up on the Web App
Download the Google Authenticator, Authy Authenticator, or 1Password App on your Mobile Phone or Tablet to continue.
- On your dashboard, click on your name and Cadana UserTag at the top right corner.
- Click on Profile settings
- Select Security and Privacy tab
- Scroll down to look for Two-factor Authentication and click on the Enable button to begin set up
- You will receive a prompt to download Google Authenticator, Authy Authenticator, or 1Password on your device.
- Click on Confirm
- To enable two-factor authentication, scan the QR code with your Authenticator App on your mobile or tablet to link and enter the 6-digit verification code
- Select Enable 2FA to finish setup
- Don’t forget to copy the recovery code and keep it safe as a backup if you lose your device's access.
