Overview
If you need to change your account type, you can easily switch between an Individual account and a Business entity from your account settings. This article explains how to complete it, and what to expect during the verification process.
You should switch to a Business entity if you intend to operate the account on behalf of a registered business. Vice versa, you may switch back to an Individual account if the account is no longer used for business purposes.
Steps to Switch to a Business Entity
Refresh your browser and log in to your account.
Click on your Profile icon in the top-right corner of the page.
Select Manage Account and navigate to Work Settings.
Under Entity Type, choose Business Entity.

Enter the business name exactly as it appears on your official business documents.
This is required for successful business verification.
Submit the changes to complete the switch.
Tip: Switching back to an Individual account follows the same steps — simply select Individual under Entity Type.
Business Verification (KYB)
After switching to a Business entity, you will be required to complete Business Verification (KYB).
KYB review typically takes 24–72 hours
Your application may be approved or rejected based on the submitted documents
Once approved, your account will be fully enabled for business use. Vice versa, if you switch back to an Individual account, business verification is no longer required.
