KYB Verification for Business Contractors

Objective: This article explains why KYB is required and how to verify your business on Cadana, as a business contractor.

Cadana works with businesses that require us to perform a Know Your Business (KYB) verification on the business contractor entities they work with. During the KYB process, we will verify your business to ensure legitimacy and compliance. By verifying your business, you will unlock Cadana's features available to business contractors.

How to Verify Your Business

Step 1 - Start the verification process

Click on your profile tab and select Account Verification under Profile Settings. To begin the KYB verification process, click on Get Started in the Business Verification section. 

Please note that you will need to complete your Basic Verification before you can start the KYB verification process.

Step 2 - Provide your business and shareholder information

To continue the verification process, you will need to enter your business information, and if you have additional shareholders, you will need to provide the basic and address information of each of your shareholders.

If you are the sole shareholder of your business entity, please keep the "I am the sole shareholder of this entity" option enabled and click on Complete Verification. Disable the option If you have additional shareholders and click on Add A Shareholder to add each of the shareholders of the business.

Step 3 - Upload documentation for your business entity and its shareholders

You will need to provide business documentation to verify your business entity and the identity of your shareholders. The following types of documentation are generally accepted to verify your business or your shareholders:

For your business:

• Certificate of Incorporation
• Tax Identification Documents

• Proof of Business Address

• Ownership and Control Documentation

• Financial Statements

For your shareholders:

• Driving license
• Passport
• Government-issued ID

Click the Upload documents to review your business information and upload supporting documentation.

You can see the review status of your business verification from the Account Verification tab in Profile Settings. The review process may take one business day, please be patient with us.
