This article aims to provide step-by-step guidance for registered users on storing beneficiary information within the Cadana mobile and web apps. Beneficiaries are individuals to whom you regularly send money.
By saving the details of your frequently-transferred beneficiaries, you can streamline your transactions, effectively saving time and effort. We've introduced a feature tailored to meet your needs

Adding and saving beneficiary details on the Cadana mobile app
Steps
- On the homepage, tap the orange ⚡️ icon in the middle of your screen.
- Tap Beneficiaries.
- Tap the orange plus sign (+) icon at the bottom right corner of your screen.
- Select the Payment Method (Cadana Tag, Bank Recipient, Mobile Money, etc.).
- Enter the Beneficiary Details accurately and it will be saved.
Deleting a Beneficiary
- On the homepage, tap the orange ⚡️ icon in the middle of your screen.
- Tap Beneficiaries to view your list of saved beneficiaries.
- Tap the beneficiary you wish to delete, then tap Delete Beneficiary at the bottom of your screen.
Note: For local bank and mobile money accounts, the beneficiary's name is automatically filled in after you enter the account number.
When sending money through Cadana, you'll find the beneficiary details conveniently listed for easy selection!

Steps
- On the dashboard, click on beneficiaries
- Select Add Beneficiaries at the top right corner of the beneficiaries page.
- Select the preferred payment method
- Fill in the required details accurately.
- Tap on Add Beneficiary
- The beneficiary details will appear in a list when you are sending money through Cadana!
Note:
- For payment to Cadana users, you will need their unique user tags.
- For bank payments, you typically need to provide the recipient's name and account number, along with any additional information required based on the jurisdiction's regulations.
- For mobile money transfer, you will need to confirm the currency of the account, the name of the mobile network and the recipient mobile number.
