The Cadana User Tag

Objective: This article is to help users understand the purpose of a user tag and create, edit, or assess their Cadana user tag.

The user tag is your unique identifier on the Cadana mobile and web apps. It begins with @ and you can edit it to your preferred tag. You share your user tag with other users to receive funds on the Cadana platform.

How to edit your user tag on the Cadana Mobile App.

To create or edit user tags.

• Open Cadanapay app
• Tap on Settings and then on Personal Information.
• Tap on Change User Tag
• Edit the user tag to your preferred choice, taking note of the conditions.
• The minimum length must be 5 characters and you can only use alphabets, numbers, underscores, or a combination of any
• Tap on Save Tag
• You can find and confirm the updated user tag under your Full name on the Settings page

To access or share your user tag on the Cadana Mobile App.

• Tap on Settings
• Your user tag will be displayed under your name in your profile.

How to edit your user tag on the Cadana Web App.

To create or edit user tags.

• On the home page, click on your name and tag (top right corner)
• Select Profile settings
• Scroll down to view your Cadana User Tag
• Tap on the Cadana Tag 
• Edit the user tag to your preferred choice, taking note of the conditions. The minimum length must be 5 characters and you can only use alphabets, numbers, underscores, or a combination of any
• Tap on Save Changes
• You can find and confirm the updated user tag under your Full name on the home page.

To access or share your user tag on the Cadana Web App.

• Open the Home page.
• Click on your name and tag (top right corner)
• Under the drop-down menu, select Profile Settings
• Scroll down to Cadana Tag
• Click on your User tag  and Copy
